Find out which playlists are interested in your music before spending a dime on promotion.
Modern problems require modern solutions
That is why Playlist IQ was created to solve the biggest headaches both artists & playlist curators have.
Here are the biggest complaints artists have with other playlist network sites:
1. They hate paying for feedback then hearing something like this from the curator, "Your song was great and really well done; unfortunately, it doesn't really fit my list."
2. They hate paying to submit to a group of curators and not receiving any streams from it.
3. They hate paying for a pitching service & ending up on playlists they think don't fit their song.
Here are the biggest complaints from playlist owners:
1. Curators hate not being able to properly monetize their list & being restricted to charging pennies for feedback even when their playlist is very popular.
2. Curators hate wasting time on hours of submissions whenever artists don't actually have a budget for promotion.
3. Curators don't feel like coming up with a novel for each review they have to write in order to get paid. They would just prefer to get paid more for the songs that fit their list & help that list gain in popularity.
And so, Playlist IQ was born!
Here's why artists love it:
1. Artists receive an initial (interest level) response from curators for free! No more wasting your budget on lists that aren't interested.
2. Artists get to select which of those interested lists to assign their budget to for feedback & scheduling.
3. Artists can see estimated streaming predictions for each list they submit to. (Streaming predictions are made via our AI-assisted proprietary algorithm based on hundreds of real data points).
4. Artists will receive a playlisting schedule at the same time they receive feedback. While the playlist curator is being paid for the feedback they write, they are also being held accountable for the answer they gave the artist during their initial review.
I.e. We ask the curators to give a playlisting schedule NOT because the artist is paying to get on the list, but because they said they were interested in putting the song on their list during the initial free review!
Here's why curators love it:
1. Curators can set their own prices for each list on their profile over 100 followers.
2. Curators can see the budget a campaign has prior to giving any initial responses for a song.
3. Curators can use our AI technology to quickly see the song genre, mood, energy, engineering quality, language and lyrical content before ever listening to the song. This enables an extremely efficient review process.
4. Curators can also use AI-assisted technology to write a unique final feedback an artist will receive.

Playlist IQ Artist FAQ's
How is this different from other submission websites?
At Playlist IQ, we've revolutionized how artists and playlist curators connect.
Choose Your Campaign Type
YOU choose where to spend your credits. We offer two campaign options to fit your needs:
RUSH Campaigns
The FASTEST response time system in the music industry! While other platforms have a one-size-fits-all pricing for curators whether they respond in 1 day or 3 days, our system helps BOTH artists and curators get campaigns done at RECORD speed. If an artist chooses a RUSH campaign, they will give curators extra credits for their initial response depending on how FAST they answer:
- 12-hour response: 4 credits
- 24-hour response: 3 credits
- 48-hour response: 2 credits
- 72-hour response: 1 credit
- After 72 hours: Standard campaign rates apply
- Plus standard detailed feedback rates for interested curators
Standard Campaigns
Ideal if you're willing to wait longer (up to 7 days) and only pay for detailed feedback from already interested curators:
- Initial responses are always free
- Take your time reviewing curator responses
- Allocate your budget strategically to detailed feedback only
Why Our System Works Better
Unlike other platforms that limit curator feedback rates to $2-$4, we understand the reality of playlist economics. Many curators invest thousands in growing and promoting their playlists. Our system allows curators to set fair rates that reflect:
- Their playlist's reach and influence
- Marketing investments in growing their audience
- Time spent reviewing and placing songs
- Ongoing playlist maintenance and promotion
This creates a win-win situation for BOTH artists and curators:
- Curators are properly compensated for their work and investment
- Artists get better playlist positions and more promotional value
- Higher-quality playlists are incentivized to participate
Our Trust Score System
We maintain high standards through our Trust Score system. Curators who indicate interest in a song but don't follow through on placement opportunities will see their Trust Score impacted, ensuring accountability and transparency.
Platform Protections
- Automatic refunds if detailed feedback isn't delivered within 3 days
- Complete transparency in curator pricing and response times
- Fair compensation for curators while maintaining value for artists
Is this just for Spotify playlist curators?
Yes. Right now, this system is built for Spotify playlists only. We will consider other platforms in the future.
What type of genres do curators like?
We have a dedicated research team that contacts curators in ALL genres regularly with more being added each week.
How many followers do the playlists have?
All playlists in our system must have at least 100 followers & be grown through either organic, SEO, or paid ads. We do not allow any bots or suspicious activity.
Do I have to pay to submit?
Yes and no. To submit music on Playlist IQ, you'll need credits in your account - but how you use them is up to you.
How Credits Work:
- Credits are held in escrow for 7 days when you start a campaign
- After 7 days, any unused credits return to your account balance
- You choose how to spend these credits based on your campaign type
Initial Responses: RUSH vs Standard Campaigns
RUSH Campaigns:
Credits are charged based on response speed:
- 4 credits for 12-hour response
- 3 credits for 24-hour response
- 2 credits for 48-hour response
- 1 credit for 72-hour response
- 0 credits after 72 hours
Standard Campaigns:
- Initial responses are completely free
- Curators have up to 7 days to respond
- No credits charged for their initial interest response
For Both Campaign Types:
- Additional credits are only used when you choose to purchase detailed feedback from interested curators
- You maintain control over your budget by selecting which interested curators to work with
This system creates a balance: curators know their time reviewing submissions is valued, while artists maintain control over their budget and only pay for services they choose to use.
How much will detailed feedback cost?
Playlist IQ allows curators to charge their own preferred amount for detailed feedback. Since curators are potentially doing the initial consideration of songs for free, we allow them flexibility in their feedback cost.
You will always be able to see how much curators charge in both the consideration and final approval forms when submitting music.
How does Playlist IQ get paid?
We split the feedback fee with the curators 50/50.
How long are credits valid?
Unused credits in your user balance do not expire!
