Find out which playlists are interested in your music before spending a dime on promotion.
Modern problems require modern solutions
That is why Playlist IQ was created to solve the biggest headaches both artists & playlist curators have.
Here are the biggest complaints artists have with other playlist network sites:
1. They hate paying for feedback then hearing something like this from the curator, "Your song was great and really well done; unfortunately, it doesn't really fit my list."
2. They hate paying to submit to a group of curators and not receiving any streams from it.
3. They hate paying for a pitching service & ending up on playlists they think don't fit their song.
Here are the biggest complaints from playlist owners:
1. Curators hate not being able to properly monetize their list & being restricted to charging pennies for feedback even when their playlist is very popular.
2. Curators hate wasting time on hours of submissions whenever artists don't actually have a budget for promotion.
3. Curators don't feel like coming up with a novel for each review they have to write in order to get paid. They would just prefer to get paid more for the songs that fit their list & help that list gain in popularity.
And so, Playlist IQ was born!
Here's why artists love it:
1. Artists receive an initial (interest level) response from curators for free! No more wasting your budget on lists that aren't interested.
2. Artists get to select which of those interested lists to assign their budget to for feedback & scheduling.
3. Artists can see estimated streaming predictions for each list they submit to. (Streaming predictions are made via our AI-assisted proprietary algorithm based on hundreds of real data points).
4. Artists will receive a playlisting schedule at the same time they receive feedback. While the playlist curator is being paid for the feedback they write, they are also being held accountable for the answer they gave the artist during their initial review.
I.e. We ask the curators to give a playlisting schedule NOT because the artist is paying to get on the list, but because they said they were interested in putting the song on their list during the initial free review!
Here's why curators love it:
1. Curators can set their own prices for each list on their profile over 100 followers.
2. Curators can see the budget a campaign has prior to giving any initial responses for a song.
3. Curators can use our AI technology to quickly see the song genre, mood, energy, engineering quality, language and lyrical content before ever listening to the song. This enables an extremely efficient review process.
4. Curators can also use AI-assisted technology to write a unique final feedback an artist will receive.

Playlist IQ Artist FAQ's
How is this different from other submission websites?
Other websites let you send paid blind submissions and severely limit how much playlist curators are allowed to charge for feedback. This led to artists becoming frustrated at continually hearing, "Your song sounds great, but unfortunately it is not right for my playlists."
At Playlist IQ, we innovated to alleviate this headache from artists.
We allow playlist owners to charge more for feedback and set their own prices in exchange for them giving an initial consideration response to songs for free.
Artists can then pay for more detailed feedback from curators and receive an expected placement schedule.
To be clear, artists are paying for the feedback only.
Playlist owners do not have to place songs on their list after receiving payment.
However, if a playlist owner does not place a song on their list after telling an artist they were interested in their song during the initial response, this playlister will have an impacted Trust Score.
Their Trust Score is impacted because they did not follow through on their initial response given to the artist.
At Playlist IQ, we have found this the most reliable way to ensure we stay compliant with artists only paying for feedback while giving them the most certainty possible that their budget will not be entirely wasted without getting on playlists.
Is this just for Spotify playlist curators?
Yes. Right now, this system is built for Spotify playlists only. We will consider other platforms in the future.
What type of genres do curators like?
We have a dedicated research team that contacts curators in ALL genres regularly with more being added each week.
How many followers do the playlists have?
All playlists in our system must have at least 100 followers & be grown through either organic, SEO, or paid ads. We do not allow any bots or suspicious activity.
Do I have to pay to submit?
Yes and no. Since curators are giving the initial feedback for free, you do not pay for the consideration phase.
However, curators also deserve to know their time is not being wasted reviewing dozens of submissions with no payment.
In order to submit for the consideration phase, you do need to have credits in your balance.
These credits will be moved into escrow for at least 7 days from the start of a campaign.
They can be used for the active campaign at any time to pay for feedback from interested curators.
If you still have unused credits from a campaign after 7 days, you can refund the campaign to your user balance.
How much will feedback cost?
Playlist IQ allows curators to charge their own preferred amount for feedback. Since curators are doing the initial consideration of songs for free, we allow them flexibility in their feedback cost.
You will always be able to see how much curators charge in both the consideration and final approval forms when submitting music.
How does Playlist IQ get paid?
We split the feedback fee with the curators 50/50.
How long are credits valid?
Unused credits in your user balance do not expire!
